Audiciones
EN LA ESCUELA DE BALLET JOFFREYWe invite dancers from around the world to select an in-person location, a virtual audition via Zoom, or submit your video as a digital audition in consideration for acceptance and potential merit-based scholarship.
Audiciones intensivas de verano
Dancers ages 8 to 25 are invited to audition for any of our worldwide Joffrey Ballet School Summer Intensives during our Audition Tour. Auditions are held at in-person locations across the United States, Canada, Europe, Japan, Mexico, and beyond!
All dancers, new and returning, are required to audition, in consideration for Summer:
- Acceptance
- Scholarship
- Placement

Audiciones de aprendices
In-Person and Virtual auditions are your opportunity to be considered for the year-round Joffrey Ballet School Trainee Programs in New York City and Texas. Concentrations include Ballet and Jazz & Contemporary.
Pre-professional dancers ages 13 to 25 are encouraged to apply, to experience a day of classes with our Artistic Directors and Master Faculty.
The audition day concludes with a tour of our dormitory, to provide prospective students with a glimpse of what life could be at the Joffrey Ballet School.

Audiciones digitales
Dancers unable to attend an in-person or virtual audition can submit a video in consideration for acceptance and potential merit-based scholarship to our Summer Intensives and year-round Trainee & Pre-Professional Programs.- Digital auditions for our 2023 Summer Programs are accepted until three weeks prior to the start date of the selected Summer Intensive. Dancers ages 8 to 25 are encouraged to apply.
- Digital Auditions for Trainee & Pre-Professional Programs are accepted throughout the year. Applications are accepted for pre-professional dancers ages 13 to 25.

Ballet infantil
(Ages 2-7)
We make dance fun while learning. Classes rooted in the foundation of ballet begin at age 2 and build to age 7. Classes will be taught in person at our Manhattan or Ciudad de Long Island studios.
For students who are new to dance, we offer the opportunity to take a trial class before registering!

Ballet juvenil
(Ages 8-18)
This is a great program for the beginner to the advanced dancer that provides a nurturing learning environment for a young dancer. New students will have to schedule a placement class.

About Our Auditions
EN LA ESCUELA DE BALLET JOFFREYAuditions are one hour and thirty minutes, led by the Joffrey Ballet School's Artistic Directors and Master Faculty. Age Requirements
Summer Programs
Dancers must be 8 years old by their audition date and no older than 25 on June 1.

Dancers must be 13 years old by their audition date and no older than 25 on September 1.

Dancers must be 8 years old by their placement class date and no older than 18 on September 1.
Price & Pre-Registration
Domestic & International Auditions Pre-registration is highly encouraged. If you pre-register you receive a discount on the audition fee and you move through check in much more quickly.- En Persona $40 USD (Early Registration) | $45 USD (Walk-In)
